Two River Little Leauge (TRLL)

As a manager or coach for Two River Little League (TRLL), I agree to:

  • Respect all players. I will ensure that any feedback I give is constructive and paired with positive reinforcement. I recognize that every player contributes to the team and deserves to be treated fairly and respectfully, in full accordance with TRLL rules and values.

  • Respect all families. I understand the commitment that families make to support their child’s participation in baseball. I will communicate clearly and consistently with families to foster a supportive and united team environment. I will hold a team meeting before the season begins to outline expectations, which will be provided in writing to all families.

  • Follow the rules as written. I will read and fully understand the rules for my division prior to the start of the season. If any part of the rules is unclear, I will seek clarification before play begins. I will not manipulate or bend rules to gain an unfair advantage.

  • Resolve issues through proper channels. I understand that I am supported by TRLL Board of Directors and fellow volunteer Coaches. If disputes or concerns arise, I will address them professionally with the appropriate individuals—coaches, players, parents, the Coaching Coordinator, or the TRLL Board—and respect the outcomes reached through those discussions.

  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship. I recognize that young players are observant and often model their behavior after adults. I will lead by example by treating players, families, opponents, umpires, and fans with respect at all times. I will also take care of fields, facilities, and equipment as a steward of the TRLL community.

  • Contribute positively to TRLL. I will act as a positive, supportive, and caring leader. My goal is to use baseball to teach valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship to every player I coach.
